WoodCreek Reserve

WoodCreek Reserve is a master-planned neighborhood in Katy, Texas, that spans 500 acres. The community has quickly become one of the most desirable locations in West Houston, thanks to its excellent residential amenities, excellent Katy ISD schools, and accessible location. Nature was at work long before the concept of WoodCreek Reserve was conceived. Nature’s architecture was followed by the land, the bayou, and the gigantic oak trees, resulting in a pristine 100-acre nature reserve. WoodCreek Reserve blends environmental stewardship with an unrivaled home amenities package. The park was organically formed by the ancient trees and Buffalo Bayou. It’s a nature park that follows the bayou, preserving the bayou’s natural beauty as well as the land and oak trees. This “Nature Reserve” also serves as a practical amenity for inhabitants, featuring sports fields, forested nature paths (nearly 1 mile in the woods), fish-stocked lakes, picnic places surrounded by old oak trees, tennis courts, and a green belting reserve. The residential side now has additional open space because of the creation of three smaller parks in separate areas, in addition to the “Big 100-acre park.” All of the residential housing plots are bigger than typical, giving occupants “more elbow room” and more greenery around their dwellings. Years before the Interstate (I-10 West) was created, the Elizabeth Poorman-Moore family purchased this land when the area was rich with history in Indians, railways, and rice production. Then, in 1996, the Woodcreek Reserve approached the Poorman family about the possibility of selling the property, and after some negotiation, they agreed to buy it. WoodCreek Reserve, Katy’s latest master-planned neighborhood, is nestled in this highly forested nature reserve. WoodCreek Reserve is a masterful symphony of nature’s beauty, as well as a one-of-a-kind home amenity package. Every home site in WoodCreek Reserve has been designed to be one-of-a-kind, giving residents additional room to call their own. WoodCreek Reserve has been meticulously designed and planned to be a beautiful place to live. For your family and future generations, previous generations painstakingly protected its beauty. In addition to a larger yard, homeowners have access to a private recreational complex nestled in the woods along the bayou, which includes a pool, cabanas, and a children’s playground. All of the residences in WoodCreek Reserve are connected by a “green-beltway system” that allows residents to stroll from their homes to the hundred-acre park and leisure center. Living in WoodCreek Reserve means being a part of Katy’s city government, where your children will attend the top Katy schools. WoodCreek Reserve Elementary, which opened in August 2007, and WoodCreek Reserve Junior High School, which opened in August 2008, are both on-site and have received Exemplary ratings. Living in WoodCreek Reserve is a wise decision because of the excellent schools that are within walking distance.
