Pine Mill Ranch is located south of Katy, one of Houston’s nicest suburbs, in a predominantly suburban neighborhood. The area has about 1,400 single-family homes and a superb collection of community facilities. The neighborhood has a small-town feel to it, with an active organization that arranges community activities for residents. During the early 1900s, the Greater Katy region was largely made up of farms and ranches. The region saw commercial and residential growth in the 1970s and 1980s. The Golf Club at Cinco Ranch, Meadowbrook Farms Golf Club, and The Club at Falcon Point are just a few of the surrounding golf courses that golfers will enjoy. The Katy Independent School District is home to some of the most prestigious schools in the Houston metro region. Pine Mill Ranch residences are zoned for Davidson Elementary, WoodCreek Junior High, and Tompkins High School, which are all newer schools in the district.
