Grand Lakes

Grand Lakes is an HOA-managed neighborhood in Katy, Texas, located south of I-10 and nestled around Grand Parkway and Fry Road. Grand Lakes Katy is located in Fort Bend County on the east side of Katy, along the Grand Parkway and Westpark Tollway. Grand Lakes boasts 2,771 nicely designed homes and is close to some of Katy Independent School District’s greatest schools, retail shopping complexes, restaurants, and much more. 27 completely stocked lakes, full-sized tennis courts, 4 dazzling pools, splash pad, and spray park, soothing putting greens, a dog-frenzy dog park, several themed playgrounds, stunning landscaping, pavilions, and gazebos are among the features. Grand Lakes is a master-planned community in the Greater Katy region that was built in 1998. Between the early 1900s and the 1940s, the land in Fort Bend County was primarily rural. Grand Lakes is a Trendmaker Development Company project that began in the late 1990s. Several respected builders, including David Powers, Perry Homes, and Ashton Woods, are among those offering homes in the neighborhood. Homes were erected around a central park area in the master-planned neighborhood, which was developed in stages. The majority of the 2700+ homes (approx.) in this area were built between 1998 and 2008 and are Traditional or Colonial in style. These homes are typically two-story homes with four bedrooms, three baths, and roughly 3500 square feet with two-car garages and a median lot size of 9000+ square feet. The homes for sale in Grand Lakes range from large estates to modest bungalows, some of which are located near the community’s many lakes. Grand Lakes houses are available in a range of floor layouts, ranging from three to six bedrooms. Water view properties are available in this upmarket area, which has many lakes. Grand Lakes Katy has an intriguing four-square plan with residences built around a central park in each phase (Phase 1, 2, 3, and 4). Each park has a distinct theme. There’s a formal park with fountains in one, a swimming pool in another, and so forth. A dog park, splash pad, and community garden are among the many playgrounds, pools, and tennis courts available. Phase 4 is the newest phase of Grand Parkway, and it includes a big gazebo on a lake, as well as a park, pool, and playground. A nature hiking route is also accessible from this part. Alexander Elementary, Griffin Elementary, Beckendorff Junior High, and Seven Lakes High School are four of the best schools in the Greater Houston region that serve Grand Lakes residents. Grand Lakes provides a variety of social activities throughout the year, as well as two annual garage sales.
