Cane Island
Cane Island is a 1,100-acre master-planned neighborhood on the eastern outskirts of Katy city boundaries. The neighborhood, which opened in 2015, is divided into seven sections, three of which are gated communities. Cane Island is located north of Interstate 10 and Highway Boulevard, with Cane Island Parkway providing direct access to the hamlet. The Energy Corridor, Cinco Ranch, and the city of Houston are all within minutes of the community. Cane Island homes are just minutes from Katy’s top restaurants, parks, schools, restaurants, and shopping. 2015 when Rise Communities has just opened Cane Island. Within the city borders, Cane Island is the newest master-planned neighborhood. The community, which first opened its doors in March 2016, is divided into seven smaller areas and offers houses from Ryland, David Weekly, Perry, Coventry, Trendmaker, Shea, and Toll Brothers, among others. Cane Island, one of Katy’s newest master-planned communities, offers a diverse selection of facilities to appeal to a wide range of tastes and interests. Cane Island Amenity Village is a four-acre community center on the island of Cane. An outdoor amphitheater, a lake, a conservatory, a two-story fitness facility, tree homes, and an outdoor cafe are all available. There are two swimming pools at Amenity Village. The one for adults is separate from the one for families, which includes a splash pad close to the pool. The amphitheater and Event Center, for example, were designed specifically for community gatherings. These spaces are available for residents to hire for parties and other occasions. The master plan for the neighborhood includes theme parks, lakes, canals, and nature walks, among other things. Cane Island’s parks, according to the developers, will be inspired by and feature major components of Katy’s history, like railways. In the region, you may find bungalows, patio houses, and classic two-story residences. Cane Island houses are often built in traditional architectural forms, with brick and wood exteriors. Luxury new construction houses from some of Houston’s most respected builders make up Cane Island real estate. Each builder provides a choice of floor layouts (ranging in size from 50 to 100 square feet). Cane Island houses generally have 3 to 5 bedrooms and range in size from 1,800 to over 5,000 square feet. The lot sizes range from 6,000 to 15,000 square feet. Cane Island houses are allocated to Katy ISD’s oldest and highest-rated schools, according to Houston’s Best Public Schools. Known for its highly acclaimed and multi-award-winning schools, the KISD has obtained a “Met Standard” certification from the TEA.
